What were the challenges that you faced during your program?

Working with another VF in the property at the same time there was 2 of the same year’s VFs in Turnberry.
Turnberry had only recently been taken over by Starwood then so working in that changing environment was challenging but also provided many opportunities to do things I would not have had the opportunity to do otherwise.

Did the program go as you expected?

It went a lot better! I thought it would be good but was amazed by the flexibility and variation of the program.

Currently, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

General Manager if someone is mad enough to do it.

What were highlights of your career with Starwood?
|
|
|
Working as StarMeetings Concierge for the Starwood Board of Directors meeting
Serving many dignitaries and doing some great launches in Westin Dublin.

The VF program gives you back much more than what you put in but the more you put in and put yourself out there the more you will get back in return.
