What was your goal when you started the program?

Gain more knowledge of the hotel industry and figure out what path I wanted to take

Did you change your goal towards the end of the program?

Yes I became very interested in Six Sigma and was lucky enough to get my Green Belt certification during Vita Futura, hence I am currently looking for a Black Belt position to pursue a career in Six Sigma!

What were the challenges that you faced during your program?

Vita Futura was new in the North American Division so we developed mutual expectations over time which was definitely challenging. Nevertheless my Vita Futura experience forced me to grow a lot in a short timeframe, and therefore I am eternally grateful for the opportunity and would do it all over again!

Did the program go as you expected?

No it was not as expected at all which made it all the more interesting.

Currently, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I hope to be working for the W hotels Corporate Operations team in New York

What were highlights of your career with Starwood?

The opportunity to be part of the pre-opening team of the Sheraton Fota in Ireland was definitely memorable!
