What brought me here: I was already working for Starwood Netherlands for over a year when I was informed that I would be able to become the new Finance Futura in Amsterdam. I already knew about the contents of the program since there was a Finance Futura at my property and I thought it would suit my aspirations perfectly. I am honored to be part of the program and very thankful for the effort & support I receive from my department and Director of Finance. I have already done accounts receivable & accounts payable, so I have a one-year fast track traineeship and then will be able to get a job as an Assistant Controller at another property in a new country. Very exciting!

Highlights of the program: One to one sessions with the Director of Finance, getting to know all aspects of accounting & finance in depth, getting to know the people, doing projects & defining issues in processes done, lots of highlights!
